Resume

I’m often asked, “what do you want to do when you grow up”, and my first reaction is, well, I don’t ever want to grow up, but I’ll settle for getting paid to do something I’m good at- creating content.

I’m not only experienced with connecting audiences to brands through story-telling and content creation, but I’m passionate about forging relationships between people. I am a digital story teller that wants to use my voice in a way that is meaningful and impacts everyone it reaches.

AdAction, Influencer Strategy and Success Manager

What do you get when you combine agency experience AND proven content creation? The perfect recipe for an Influencer strategist. At AdAction, my main focus is helping our Influencer partners become better content creators and monetize their accounts to the best of their ability. Working with dozens of huge names in the mobile gaming space and mobile app development, I work within a team to lead the way recruiting, training and coaching Influencer Affiliates to create content that actually performs. Plus, they let me take over their Instagram too.

FireTeam Agency, Social Media Strategist

My time at FireTeam is where I did some of my favorite/best work (in my humble opinion). Starting off as a social media freelancer for one of their major clients, after a year I became the agency’s first employee outside their core 3 founders. During my stay, I managed Tik Tok, Twitter and Instagrams for a plethora of brands, and, in fact, still am the Twitter community manager for JavaSok to this day. Apart from social media, I also designed, implemented, and managed paid and non-paid Influencer programs for multiple clients. That’s not all though! Apart from traditional social media work, I also got to dive full force into branding, pitching, sms and even email marketing. Ask me about the time I had to dress up in a Pickle Suit.

The Black Sheep, Influencer Manager

Since July, I have worked diligently to help create the Influencer division of the Media Department for The Black Sheep. I specialize in identifying influential individuals within particular demographics (region, college campus, etc) and psychographics (interests like EDM and CBD gummies). Secondary, I help the influencers in their content creation process in order to develop and coordinate content marketing campaigns in order to create maximum exposure for clients like GoPuff, Domino’s and more. This effectively increases brand loyalty that not only helps immediate sales, but sales over the lifetime of the client. Please tell my mom that taking pictures in a Bikini for Instagram is in fact, a job.

The Black Sheep, National Marketing Manager

For 4 months I was the National Marketing Manager for The Black Sheep, a one-stop-shop marketing company that specializes in the college demographic using a mixture of social media, micro-influencers, and on-the-ground campaigning. I mapped out and organized events, as well as ensure their efficient execution in over 25 markets. This position required incredible attention to detail, quick problem-solving ability, and clear communication, as well as the ability to multi-task and the divine patience to work with college students on a daily basis.

Freelance Copywriter

Since graduating in December 2018, I have also freelanced my services in content creation, social media management, and blogging. Consistently serving 4 companies, and having multiple one-off projects, I’m confident in my ability to create a voice that both stays true to the brand and resonates with the audience, promoting a true emotional connection through the digital space, which basically means I make memes and get paid to make brands seem cool to Millennials. As Steve Buscemi would say, “hello, fellow kids”.

Dakno Marketing, Copywriter & Social Media Intern

During my time at Dakno Marketing, I learned how to use Google Analytics to determine keywords to improve SEO ranking, the ability to create content that matched the Client’s voice, and how to use social media in order to promote a client’s brand through both paid and free campaign tools. I also learned how to format web pages using HTML, and how important it is not to misplace brackets while coding (through hours of experience).

Poshmark

Through the app Poshmark, I have created a following of nearly 28,000 and sold over 355 listings, for total sales over $18,000 and earning just over $10,000 in profit over the last two years. I am currently in the Top 10% of sellers on the application, and was a student ambassador for the App at East Carolina University. Unfortunately, I was still not rich enough to be able to afford meals other than ramen more twice a week.
